Two cosy holiday apartments, lovingly furnished in Tyrolean style, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser in Ellmau. The Kaiserbad and the golf course are within walking distance, and the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental is right on your doorstep.
How it all began
Your hosts
This house is a labour of love. Maria and Fritz Haas built it together, with a great deal of care. The two of them travelled the world and saw many beautiful places, but their hearts always led them back to Tyrol, Maria’s home, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser.
Here they made a dream come true: a place for happy times together, where family and friends gather and where guests from all over the world feel at home. That warmth can still be felt in every corner, from the crackling tiled stove to the garden with its babbling brook.
Their daughters Kati and Eva and the whole family are very much looking forward to welcoming you.

On the sunny side
The house in Wimm
Our house is in Wimm, on the sunny side of the valley in Ellmau. The sun shines here until late in the evening, and from the balcony the Kaiser mountains are always in view.
Much can be reached without a car: the Kaiserbad with indoor pool, outdoor pool, bathing lake and sauna is only a few minutes’ walk away, and so is the Wilder Kaiser golf course. In winter the ski bus takes you into the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, one of Austria’s largest interconnected ski areas.

One large apartment on the upper floor for families and groups, and a cosy ground-floor apartment that is ideal for families with young children.

Every apartment has a stove for cosy evenings. Firewood is included in the price.
Hiking from the door
More than 200 km of trails around Ellmau, from the gentle Hartkaiser to the Wilder Kaiser.
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser
Ski bus a 5-minute walk away, Hartkaiserbahn a few minutes by car, Kaiser cross-country trail just below the house.
Kaiserbad on foot
The indoor pool, outdoor pool, bathing lake and sauna of the Kaiserbad are only a few minutes’ walk away.
Fresh bread rolls
Fresh rolls in the morning if you wish, to be ordered from the Kaiserbäckerei Gschwendtner.
Golf course within walking distance
The 18-hole Wilder Kaiser golf course lies opposite the village, an easy walk away.
Parking & drying room
Parking right at the house, a drying room for ski clothing and sledges to borrow free of charge.
